What are your operating hours?
I am by appointment only! You can easily schedule right here through my website. Simply click on “Book Appointment” and the link will take you directly to my scheduling page.
Where are you located?
I am located within the Elmhurst Professional plaza, a quarter mile west of Trine University. Maps will have you pull into the main parking lot; however, this is not my parking lot! Keep going around to the other side of the building and park on the side parking lot located on Summit Street. My entrance is Suite G, right on the corner of Maumee/Summit. You’ll see my banner hanging on the ramp. For reference- other businesses next to mine are: Dazzled Ink, Miracle Ear, and Senior 1 Care.
Can I book multiple services in one appointment?
Yes! You will need to secure each service and pay a nonrefundable booking fee separately for all services being booked. Book the closest time slots for each service and any small gaps, I will adjust. This ensures the nonrefundable payment for each service is secured. Your booking fee will be included in your total at checkout after your appointment. (Please see the policy section on my scheduling page for details on rescheduling and fees for “no-call, no-show” appointments).
Do you offer Consultations?
Yes! Consultations are complimentary, however required for any tattooing services and must be held on a date sooner than your tattoo procedure appointment. A consultation is an important step in the process to ensure we are able to provide you with the safest care and treatment, as not everybody is a candidate for every procedure.
What payment methods to you accept?
Venmo, ApplePay, cash, card, (NO checks will be accepted)
Are you licensed and certified in all of your services?
Yes! I am and will be fully licensed and certified in any and all services I provide or will ever provide. I prioritize qualifications and expertise to ensure all Melanin clients receive high-quality service and care. Every year I undergo rigorous training and continuous education to stay updated on the latest techniques and industry standards. You can trust that you're in capable hands when you choose Melanin for your beauty needs.
Am I supposed to tip?
Gratuity is always appreciated, but NEVER expected. The best form of tipping is word of mouth, leaving reviews after your services, posting a transformation photo and tagging my socials!
Do you offer Gift Cards?
Yes! You can purchase an egiftcard on the scheduling page, or you can purchase a physical gift certificate in person at my suite, (call ahead of time) or I can mail it to you. Submit a message on the contact page and include which service or how much you’d like to put on the certificate, your shipping address, and the name of who will be using the certificate.
